Introduction

Diabakus GmbH is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Reinforcement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and the ordinance implementing it (Verordnung zum Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSGV). The technical assessment is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as well as the harmonized European standard EN 301 549.

This statement applies to the website of Diabakus GmbH available at diabakus.com.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of the BFSG, the BFSGV, and WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The content listed below is not yet fully accessible for the reasons stated there.

Non-accessible content

At the time this statement was prepared, the website of Diabakus GmbH is still under construction. A systematic technical accessibility audit has not yet been fully carried out. The following areas may still have limitations at present:

• Alternative texts (alt texts) for images are still being added systematically.
• Color contrasts have not yet been checked consistently.
• Full keyboard operability and compatibility with screen readers have not yet been comprehensively tested.
• Embedded PDF documents may not be fully accessible.

A systematic review of the website against WCAG 2.2 Level AA (e.g. using axe-core or Lighthouse) is planned. This statement will be updated afterwards, and known barriers will be removed step by step.
