MedTech Partners

Connect your technology with Diabakus

Shaping the diabetes therapy of the future together

With Diabakus, we bridge innovative hardware and intelligent therapy support.

Become a MedTech partner and create tangible value for people with diabetes together with us.

Hardware manufacturers

Diabakus was built to create a digital ecosystem where therapy data comes together clearly and reliably.

We’re glad to work with manufacturers of innovative diabetes hardware who are interested in seamless technical integration — from CGM and FGM systems to insulin pumps, pen systems, and smart meters.

How we work together

Diabakus is built modularly, and our goal is a direct, deep integration of hardware systems.

We seek collaboration with manufacturers to connect your systems with Diabakus securely and in a privacy-compliant way, creating value for everyone.

What we achieve

By integrating your systems, we let shared users easily consolidate their readings in one central place.

Connections to other apps and software

Connected therapy management thrives on the smooth exchange of relevant everyday signals.

How we work together

We focus on targeted partnerships with developers and providers of specialized applications such as nutrition and product databases as well as complementary health apps.

What we achieve

By integrating external data sources directly and in a privacy-compliant way, we bring relevant information together seamlessly in Diabakus. When nutrition and meal data are merged in a structured way with the data from Diabakus, duplicate data entry is eliminated. That saves time, increases transparency, and creates a consistent user experience.

Growth partners wanted

Realizing the vision together — because doing good isn’t cheap

Our goal is clear: we want to make Diabakus a platform open to everyone with diabetes — independent, modern, and intuitive in everyday life.

But to develop such an application sustainably, ensure high quality and data-protection standards, and continuously create new features, one thing above all is needed: a strong financial foundation.

That’s why we’re looking for growth partners and investors who not only believe in our vision but are ready to finance this growth with us.

If you share our vision and want to shape the path to a better digital care landscape together with us, we’d be thrilled to meet you.

This is not an offer or a solicitation to subscribe to securities or investments. Any information about possible collaboration or financial support is non-binding.

Diabakus on its way to becoming a DiGA

In brief: what is a DiGA?

A Digital Health Application (DiGA) is a vetted app “on prescription”.

Its cost is covered by German statutory health insurance (§ 33a SGB V). Inclusion in the BfArM directory requires high data-protection standards, CE marking as a medical device, and proof of positive care effects. Diabakus is pursuing exactly this path — as a reimbursable service for people with diabetes and a reliable tool for care providers.

More time for what matters in the consultation

Diabakus aims to ease everyday practice: instead of reviewing incomplete diaries, the application will structure everyday trend data into a compact, digital “patient letter”. In the future, your patients will be able to share it with you directly and in a privacy-compliant way.

That way the conversation starts with what matters instead of with data collection, and contact happens precisely when it’s medically useful.

What we want to demonstrate together

Our aim is for Diabakus to contribute to a more stable metabolic state. Whether and to what extent this shows in metrics such as HbA1c, time in range, or glycemic variability is something we want and need to demonstrate through studies.

From practice, for practice – our partnerships

Optimal care only works hand in hand with the treating professionals. To build the scientific foundation, we are already preparing an initial pilot study with academic-medical partners.

To tailor Diabakus precisely to the needs of your patients and the requirements of your practice team, we welcome an exchange with further specialized practices, clinics, and physicians.

Would you like to help shape this path? We’d love to hear from you.
